Dedicate in the name of... Benefits to YOUR community

Homes for our Troops has been very responsive to my questions about how someone can make a donation in memory of a loved one.   By following these instructions you can mail a donation directly to their office with a note identifying "In the name of:" and you can specify a location that you would like funds to be directed to.

For instance, I can send a letter to them with my check made out to "Homes For Our Troops" and this note:   "Please accept this contribution in the name and memory of my father, Mr. _____ Kurtz, US Airforce, Korea.  I would like the funds to benefit veterans in the state of Pennsylvania, particularly Schuylkill county, if possible."

Please reference my name :  Jeffrey Kurtz

Contributions can be done online or by mailing directly to:

The Wounded Warrior Project also responded as follows:

What we think would be best is if your friend wants to make a contribution in honor of her deceased son-in-law, and If you’d like their donation to be applied to your event instead, they can send the donation with your event ID on it to:

Wounded Warrior Project Supporter

This just in...   Received approval from the non-profit
Wounded Warrior Project to participate in support for their efforts!

My personal fund raising page is located HERE <<<  True,,, there is
nothing in the till as of yet... but my goal for the year is to exceed $1 for every mile I travel on my motorcycle adventure, increasing community awareness of the Wounded Warrior Project and the needs of troops deployed and veterans.

My first official link has been approved to allow people to contribute to Homes for Our Troops!

This organization assists veterans in obtaining homes following their service.  There is a project underway in St. Augustine FL for LCpl Brandon Long.  I will post the link to that project as soon as received.

Here is a link to 14 home projects currently underway here in FL!  Current FL projects <<<
